Hello, This is Nagasaka from PalmTrees.
We were in charge of recording a lecture for White Essence Inc., and I’d like to share a look at the filming process.

For the most part, we followed our usual event‑shooting style,
capturing both wide and close shots for editing.

Since the editing approach had not been finalized before the shoot,
we filmed an additional angle of the lecturer just in case.
In the end, this angle wasn’t used very often in the edit, but having it available made a positive difference.
For audio, we received a line feed from the rack behind the camera and recorded it with a separate audio recorder.

Although we had a line feed, the microphone condition during the sound check was unstable and produced noise,
so relying solely on the line audio felt risky from an editing standpoint.
To prepare for this, we mounted a Sennheiser MKE600 on the front camera and recorded it through a Tascam Portacapture.
Of course, the recorder can capture audio on its own as well, so channels 1 and 2 were recorded with the Tascam’s built‑in mics, and channel 3 with the Sennheiser MKE600.
As it turned out, the line audio contained significant noise and was difficult to use.
We ended up using the audio from the Sennheiser MKE600, and once again felt reassured that we had brought the right equipment.
On this day, I had to leave for a business trip around noon, so I joined only for the setup.
Filming was handled by our staff, and I took care of the editing afterward.
At PalmTrees, we work with reliable photographers and videographers for both stills and video, allowing us to cover multiple assignments on the same day.
