Next Level Inc. – Lecture Recording | Webinar Video Production & Still Photography in Japan

Hello, this is Nagasaka from PalmTrees.
Today, I would like to share a behind‑the‑scenes look at the lecture recording, editing,
and still photography we handled for Next Level Inc.

For this lecture recording, we set up two main angles from the center position:

  1. A close‑up shot of the instructor
  2. A medium shot including the monitor

For group shots of the instructor and students, we used the ZV‑1M2.
At the time of this shoot, we were not yet operating with three FX30 bodies,
but the ZV‑1M2 still delivers very usable images, so it has been extremely helpful.

For audio, we recorded three channels using the Tascam DR‑701D: two students and one instructor.
We also captured ambient sound with the Sennheiser MKE600.

While wireless lavaliers alone would have been sufficient, they tend to produce a slightly compressed sound. We often prefer to blend in a touch of ambient audio to achieve a more natural mix. This part ultimately comes down to personal preference.

After the recording session, we also photographed portraits and interview‑style stills of the instructor.

At PalmTrees, we provide both video and still photography as a one‑stop service or separately,
and we are grateful that requests like this have been increasing recently.

If you are looking for a team for both video and still photography, please feel free to contact us.
