Hello, This is Nagasaka from PalmTrees.
We recently had the opportunity to handle both event video recording and still photography
for the All Japan Kimono Consultant Association’s World Convention.
I’d like to share a brief look behind the scenes.
One wide center camera
One tight center camera
One camera positioned on the 2nd-floor audience area
Plus an additional wide camera in the same position (not pictured)
In total, we operated a 4‑camera setup for this project, covering both recording and editing.
We received a single line feed from the venue and synced everything during editing.
I’ve been thinking about upgrading to a 32‑bit recorder,
but the Tascam DR‑701D continues to perform so well that I keep relying on it. If a successor model ever comes out, I’d adopt it immediately.
Here is a look at the booth area. We handled the product-style still photography as well.
