Jackery Japan Office Relocation Ceremony | Still & Video Coverage

Hello, this is Nagasaka from PalmTrees.

We were entrusted with both still photography and videography for the office relocation ceremony of Jackery Japan.
I would like to share a brief look at the day.

We covered the event with a team of one still photographer and two videographers.

Initially, both stills and video were planned as single‑camera setups.
However, we felt that a two‑camera structure for video would better serve the client, so we proposed an upgraded plan.

As a result, the shoot and edit were carried out with a two‑camera operated setup,
plus an additional unmanned camera, making it effectively a three‑camera workflow.

The image shown here is from a different project, but regarding audio recording for this event:

Since no mixer was used on-site, we captured audio by directing a Tascam Portacapture X6 toward the speakers and later synchronized the audio files with the video clips during editing.

Ideally, receiving a line feed from the venue is best, but recently more companies are using simple Bluetooth PA systems without mixers. In such cases,
this recording method is surprisingly common.

The Tascam Portacapture X6 supports 32‑bit float recording, which makes it extremely useful in situations where precise level adjustments are difficult due to time constraints.

At PalmTrees, we provide a fully integrated environment for both still photography and videography.
Of course, we can also support stills‑only or video‑only projects.

If you are considering event photography, event recording, or ENG‑style coverage, please feel free to contact us anytime.

Thank you very much for reading.
I look forward to seeing you again.
